Founded by John Tangorra, Southwest Floor Design has served Southwest Florida for over 35 years. Over the course of his career, John developed long-standing relationships with premier mills, lumber suppliers, and artisans throughout Europe and the United States. These connections—particularly with European producers—allow us to source sought-after materials such as premium European oak, including specialty finishes and specifications not readily available through standard distribution channels.

Today, Southwest Floor Design continues as a multi-generational family business. Phil Tangorra works alongside his father, carrying forward the same relationships, standards, and attention to detail that have defined the company for decades.
